Top Dining Apps in Egypt: Q4 2024 iOS Performance

In the fourth quarter of 2024, the dining and restaurant app landscape in Egypt on iOS saw diverse trends. Data from Sensor Tower provides insights into the performance of the top five apps in this category.

KFC Egypt - Order Food Online showed a consistent pattern in weekly downloads, starting at 4.3K and peaking at 6.4K in early October, followed by a gradual decline to around 3.5K by the end of December. Weekly active users experienced a noticeable decrease from 61.1K to 43.8K, with a brief increase towards the end of the quarter.

McDonald’s maintained a steady increase in downloads, beginning at 2.9K and rising to over 4.1K in late December. The app's active user base fluctuated, starting at 84.3K, dipping mid-quarter, and ending at approximately 68.6K.

Heart Attack | Fried Chicken experienced a sharp decline in downloads, from 8.3K at the start to just over 500 by year-end. Active users followed a similar trend, decreasing from 6.9K to 3K throughout the quarter.

Buffalo Burger noted a modest increase in downloads, beginning at 1.5K and peaking at 2.7K in late October, before stabilizing around 1.6K. Active users remained relatively stable, with a slight dip mid-quarter, starting at 12.3K and ending at 13.5K.

Cilantro: Ordering & Rewards showed fluctuations in downloads, beginning at 3.7K, dropping mid-quarter, and ending at 1.5K. Active users saw an overall steady count, starting at 6.9K and finishing at 6.4K, with minor variations throughout the quarter.
